The Engagement Session at DouglasDale Point overlooking the Bow River
After three tries we finally got out for Kristi and Stuart’s engagement session. Our first attempt was scheduled for the hottest day in Calgary’s recorded history. That day the temperature hit 39 degrees and so we opted to reschedule for a less scorching day. Our second attempt was met with rather intense smoke from all the forest fires in BC and Northern Alberta. With the air quality being to poor we opted for another day. This brought us to Monday, August 27th were we started the day with some light rain, but, determined to complete our shoot we decided to keep the session for that evening and boy were we treated to a beautiful sunset overlooking the Bow River and City of Calgary.
